Direct-to-Film FAQ

What are gang sheets?

Gang sheets are a convenient way to print multiple designs on a single sheet of transfer paper. This method allows you to maximize the use of your materials and save time when creating custom designs. It's perfect for crafters looking to produce vibrant, photo-quality prints efficiently!

How do I create a custom gang sheet?

Creating a custom gang sheet is easy! Simply upload your designs to our gang sheet designer, arrange them as you like, and ensure they fit within the specified dimensions. Once you're satisfied with the layout, you can proceed to order your gang sheet for printing. If you need any assistance, feel free to reach out to us!

Why does the gang sheet designer say my art isn't good enough? (Low Resolution Art)

The gang sheet designer checks the resolution of your artwork to ensure that it meets the quality standards for printing. If your art is flagged as low resolution, it may result in blurry or pixelated prints. To avoid this, make sure your images are at least 300 PPI (Pixels Per Inch) for the best results.

How can I make my art so that the colors and edges are clean?

Design your art in a vector based program like Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, or Inkscape. Make sure the art is close to your desired print size, and then export the image as a PNG at 300ppi and DO NOT use anti-aliasing. Using these settings, you should have produced a clean image with a transparent background that will look crisp and clean when you receive the transfers.
